16 month old baby who fractured her leg while the devastating earthquake hit the capital. Since then she had been admitted to Sahid Memorial Hospital of Kathmandu. Rekha Bhandari (9813809318), her relative, called our team and informed about it. Her mother name is Yasoda Bhandari. Mrs. Yasoda was in her shop while her child was playing in the shop when the earthquake occurred. They are residents of Kalanki, Kathmandu. Mrs. Yasoda got her hip bone and her leg fractured. Only the baby's leg has been plastered but her mother has been been treated yet now. Even the baby has not received proper treatment instead the hospital is asking for its fee for further treatement. Mrs. Yasoda younger sister said, "only yesterday on the 8th day after they were admitted, the bay was finally plastered but the mother is still to be treated. Hospital is asking for money for further treatment. We are in dilemma". Though the government has announced that the earthquake victims will be treated for free but its unfortunate that the hospital is asking for the fee. Its sad to her such news.
