"No any rescue team or relief packages has reached Thampal Chhap VDC of Sindhupalchok District though Government claims to have reached Sidhupalchok District", said Nir Bahadur Tamang to our team on the phone. Nir Bahadur (9841702050) is one of the resident of the respective VDC who reached Kathmandu. According to him, 26 people in ward no. 4, 16 in ward no. 3 and 17 people in ward no. 2 of Thampal Chhap VDC have died. He further said that 183 of the houses there are completely destroyed whereas only 5 of the houses are good enough to settle. Moreover, more then 100 livestocks have died there and have not been disposed properly. Besides, there is no electricity, no mobile networks in the VDC. People are compelled to survive under the open skies and are in lack of foods and medicines as no rescue teams have reached there yet now. There is urgent need of rescue teams, relief packages, medicines, tents and solar lights.
