Dolakha district, which was  just waking from the jolts of catastrophic earthquake again was blown down by the devastating aftershock on Tuesday. Medias has been reporting about the destruction made by the earthquake there but the relief and rescue teams are yet to reach there. The roads joining Singati and Lamabagar are still obstructed by the landslide recently. Though vehicles reach to Singati of Dolakha but still none of the teams has yet reached to Lamabagar or the nearby Villages or VDC's. Babukaji Karki (9844305080) talking to Rapid Response Team said,"There is no electricity and locals in those areas are still out of contact. I too cannot talk for very long as the mobile phone may switch off anytime soon". He further added to our queries,"There is no proper information about total loss in life and material. People are yet under the rubble. Though people from more than 500 household are affected but only 20-30 tents are provided or 50-60 Kg of rice is provided. While the local people and organization have been helping but still no any official teams has reached". According to Mr. Karki, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala did make a visit here and gave assurance that relief will soon reach there. But it's unfortunate that even the roads are not cleared till now. Mr. Karki also said,"Even the relief teams has not reached to the headquarter itself. The situation is getting very crucial here with each passing day and the lives has been suffering". Besides, we were also informed that around 500 tents reached the headquarter, Charikot but soon the situation turned out chaotic and could not be distributed.
